Ceramic Tile Murals

These are ceramic tile pieces. Public institutions and private individuals commission me to design murals that convey something about their geography, activities, values or other favorite characteristics. The odd shapes of the terra cotta tiles accentuate gestures in the images painted on them. The tiles fit together to make a long frieze down a hallway, a rectangular mural on an entry wall, or to fit other architectural spaces. They can be touched and cleaned, and are all one-of-a-kind commissions.
